Itinerary

Day 1 : Morning drive to Rishikesh

It is an approximately 230 Kms / 6 hrs journey. Enjoy lunch along the way. Upon arrival in Rishikesh, check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a sightseeing tour of Rishikesh, including visits to Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Swarga Ashram. In the evening, delight in the captivating view of Ganga Aarti. Overnight Stay at Rishikesh.

Day 2 : Barkot - Rishikesh

After breakfast in the morning, drive to Barkot. This is a journey of approximately 200 Kms and will take around 7 hours. Along the way, stop to visit Kempty Fall at Mussoorie. Upon arrival in Barkot, check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 : Trek to Yamunotri and Rituals at Surya Kund

Early in the morning, have breakfast and then drive to Janki Chatti. From there, trek to Yamunotri. You can cover the distance either by walking or riding a horse or Doli. The one-way distance for the third day is a 36 Km drive and a 7 Km trek.

At Yamunotri, take a bath in Jamnabai Kund and dip raw rice or potato in Surya Kund. After cooking, use it as Prasad. Witness the enchanting view of Aarti offered to Divya Shila and to the main deity Yamunaji. Later, return to Barkot for an overnight stay.

Day 4 : Drive to Uttarkashi and Visit Vishwanath Temple

After breakfast in the morning, drive to Uttarkashi for the night, covering a distance of approximately 100 Kms in 4 hours. Visit the Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 : Gangotri Visit and Return to Uttarkashi

After having breakfast early in the morning, drive to Gangotri, which is situated at an elevation of 3048 meters and surrounded by breathtaking snow-capped Himalayan mountains. After offering prayers at the Gangotri temple, explore the area. Make sure to take a look at the submerged Shivling made of natural rock. Drive back to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 6 : Drive to Guptkashi for Overnight Stay

After having breakfast early in the morning, drive to Guptkashi. It’s a journey of around 210 kilometers and will take approximately 7 hours. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel for an overnight stay. – write short heading for this itinerary

Day 7 : Drive to Guptkashi for Overnight Stay

In the morning, depart for Gaurikund, where the trek to Kedarnath begins. Kedarnath is situated at an elevation of 3584 meters above sea level, with a distance of 45 kilometers by road and 14 kilometers by trek. You can hire a pony or Doli to cover the trekking distance. Kedarnath is home to one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Upon reaching Kedarnath, visit the main temple and stay overnight there.

Day 8 : Kedarnath Temple Visit and Drive to Pipalkoti

After an early morning visit to the Kedarnath temple, return to Gaurikund (a trek of 14 kilometers) and then drive to Pipalkoti, covering a distance of approximately 158 kilometers in five hours.

Day 9 : Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath and Evening Aarti

After breakfast, continue to Badrinath via Joshimath. The road distance is 77 kilometers and it will take around 3 hours to cover. Upon arrival at Badrinath, check in at the hotel and enjoy the evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple. Stay overnight in Badrinath.

Day 10 : Morning Darshan at Badrinath and Journey to Srinagar

Early morning, take a holy bath at Tapt Kund and then proceed for the Darshan of Badrivishal Brahma kapal for the Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors. Explore other holy sites in Badrinath such as Mana, Vyas Cave, Bhimkund etc. Afterward, continue to Srinagar (a journey of 7 hours).

Day 11 : Haridwar Arrival & Sightseeing

In the morning, after an early breakfast, drive to Haridwar. It is a 156-kilometer, 4-hour drive. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Haridwar including visits to Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi temples. In the evening, experience the enchanting view of Ganga Aarti. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 12 : Return to Delhi

After breakfast, drive back to Delhi.
