Itinerary

Day 1 : Delhi Arrival

Upon arrival at Delhi international airport, meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. If time permits we will go on a day city tour of Delhi, visiting Laxmi Narayan Temple, Hanuman Mandir, Gauri Shankar Mandir and India Gate. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 : Delhi - Mathura

Travel to Mathura – city linked with the most revered of Hindu Gods – Lord Krishna, which is sacred being the birthplace of Lord Krishna. The surroundings ‘Braj Bhoomi’ is where Lord Krishna is believed to have grown up. On arrival, check in at a hotel.
In the afternoon visit Vrindavan where Lord Krishna spent his childhood days; played the flute sporting with Gopis and where Radhika yearned for her lover. Visit Govind Dev Temple – built in 159 and a testament to medieval India’s architectural splendor. Proceed to Rangaji Temple – Vrindavan’s longest temple constructed in 1851 with a 50 feet tall ‘Dhwaja Stambha’ believed to be gold-plated. Continue to Madan Mohan Temple situated near Kali Ghat, Glass Temple and Bankey Bihari Temple – one of the oldest temples built in 1921.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Mathura - Gokul - Mahavan - Govardhan - Mathura

Drive to Gokul where Nand Gopal was sheltered in Yashoda Maiya’s home secretly escaping the wrath of tyrant Kansha. Also visit Gokul Nath Ji Temple.
Proceed to Mahavan – believed as having cradled Lord Krishna; visit ‘Assi Khambha’ temple dedicated to Mathura Nath Ji. Continue onwards towards Govardhan – where Lord Krishna held aloft ‘Giriraj’, sandstone hill on his finger for seven days and nights protecting people of Braj from Indra’s sent rain and thunder wrath. Return back to Mathura.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 : Mathura- Nandgaon- Barsana- Mathura

In morning visit Nandgaon – home of Lord Krishna’s foster father Nand; housing a temple from late19th century.
A little further ahead lies Pan Sarovar– one out of four celebrated lakes in Braj region.Continue towards Barsana– birth place of Radha–with temples dedicated to Ladliji (Radha). Also take sight of water tank ‘Prem Sarovar’,the first meeting place of Radha-Krishna.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5 : Mathura-Agra-Delhi

After an early breakfast we will have an excursion to Taj Mahal & Agra fort.Later int he afternoon drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival transfer back to the hotel .Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6 : Delhi-Back Home

After breakfast transfer at the international airport to board the flight for onward journey.
