Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Srinagar – Local Sightseeing (50 Kms) (Mughal Gardens)

After arriving at Srinagar Airport, our representative / driver will greet you at the airport and transfer you to Hotel / Dlx Houseboat. Half-day tour of world-renowned Mughal Gardens namely Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden and Cheshma Shahi. In the late Evening Shikara Ride on dal lake Upto 1 Hour.
Nishat Garden: Situated on the bank of Dal Lake, with the Zabarwan Mountains as its backdrop, Nishat Bagh is a garden that offers a splendid view of the lake beneath the snow capped Pir Panjal mountain range that stands far away to west of the valley. The Bagh was designed and built in 1633 by Asif Khan, elder brother of Nur Jehan.
Shalimar Garden: The Shalimar Bagh is renowned as Kashmir’s royal garden. The Emperor Jahangir was so enamored with this garden that he described it as “one of Kashmir’s sights.”
Shalimar Bagh is positioned on the northeast side of Lake Dal, approximately fifteen kilometers from Srinagar’s center. It was designed by Jahangir as Farah Baksh (“the delightful”) in 1619 during his foundation work for establishing the city of Srinagar

Day 2 : Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar (168 Kms)

Sonmarg (280 mts above sea level), which means ‘meadow of gold,’ is set against a backdrop of snowy mountains under a cerulean sky. The Sindh meanders through the area and is full of trout and mahseer; snow trout can be caught in the main river. Visitors have access to snow spread all over like a white carpet. Ponies can be hired for the journey up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major attraction during the summer months. In the evening, return to Srinagar. Overnight at Hotel / Houseboat.

Day 3 : Srinagar – Pahalgam (98 Kilometers)

Pahalgam, situated at an altitude of 244 meters above sea level (Valley of Shepherds), offers the opportunity to visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins and Anantnag sulfur spring on the way. Pahalgam is renowned as a significant location for the Indian Film Industry. Delight in the natural beauty of the valley. Stay overnight at a hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 4 : Explore Pahalgam: Betaab, Aru, and Chandanwari Valleys

Day to enjoy the beauty of Pahalgam. One can explore Betaab Valley, Chandanwari and Aru Valley in Pahalgam (Payment required for entry). In the evening, return to Houseboat/Hotel.
Betaab Valley: A renowned tourist destination located 15 kilometers away from Pahalgam. The valley was named after the hit debut film Betaab starring Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh. It is situated to the northeast of Pahalgam, nestled between Pahalgam and Chandanwari along the route to Amarnath Temple Yatra. The valley is surrounded by verdant meadows, snow-covered mountains and dense vegetation.
Aru Valley: Located approximately 12 km from Pahalgam, Aru lies 11 km upstream from the Lidder River. Known for its picturesque meadows, lakes and mountains, it serves as a base camp for trekking to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village is situated on the left bank of the Aru River, a tributary of the Lidder River.
Chandanwari: Positioned 16 km from Pahalgam, Chandanwari marks the starting point of the annual Amarnath Yatra in the month of Sawan (Rain). It is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge.

Day 5 : Travel to Gulmarg: Gondola and Scenic Meadows

After breakfast, depart from Pahalgam and begin the journey to Gulmarg. Situated at an altitude of 273 meters above sea level, Gulmarg is known as the “Meadow of Flowers” and is a town and popular skiing destination during winters. It is renowned for its “Gulmarg Gondola,” one of the highest cable cars in the world (Payment required for entry). Stay overnight at a hotel in Gulmarg.

Day 6 : Gulmarg: Gondola Rides and Scenic Valley Exploration

Day to enjoy the beauty of Gulmarg Valley. One can take a Gondola ride up to 1st Phase Kangdoori or up to 2nd Phase Affarwat, or one can also enjoy a pony ride. Stay overnight at a hotel in Gulmarg.
Gulmarg Valley: The name “Gulmarg” translates to Meadow of Flowers and is located 60 kilometers away from Srinagar, about an hour and thirty minutes by car. Over the years, Gulmarg has attracted millions of tourists due to its scenic beauty with the backdrop of Himalayan mountains. One of its main attractions is the Gulmarg Gondola.

Day 7 : Departure: Transfer to Airport for Next Destination

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for the connecting flight to the next destination.
