Post breakfast, we will embark on a shared fibre speedboat to reach the Elephant beach. This beach is renowned for its calm turquoise waters, making it an excellent spot for both expert and novice snorkelers. Additionally, it provides a perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment by the seaside. The beach’s breathtaking beauty, with its white sand and fallen trees, presents an ideal opportunity for photographers to capture stunning images. Finally, return to your hotel/resort at Havelock Island for an overnight stay.
Today, after having an early breakfast, we will head towards the Jetty to board the ferry to Neil Island as per the scheduled timings. Upon reaching Neil Island, our representative will be present to greet you and transfer you to your designated hotel. Following the completion of check-in procedures, we will explore pristine beaches such as Bharatpur, Sitapur, and Lakshmanpur. These beaches are truly worth a visit.
Afterwards, return to your hotel at Neil Island for an overnight stay.
You have the morning free for leisure. In the afternoon, we will arrange for your transfer to the Jetty to catch the ferry back to Port Blair as per the scheduled timing. Upon your return from Neil Island, we will take you to your designated Hotel / Resort in Port Blair for an overnight stay.
After having breakfast, we will explore the Ross Island, which served as the Administrative Headquarters before Independence. It was also where the Britishers governed the entire A & N Islands. This location is an excellent spot for a nature walk among friendly peacocks and deer. The island still features the Commissioner’s Palace, a bakery, a church, and an old cemetery of British officers, although these buildings are now in ruins.
Following this visit, we will embark on a City Tour of Port Blair that encompasses stops at the Fisheries Museum (Aquarium) – showcasing species of marine life unique to the islands; Anthropological Museum – displaying tribal essentials and artifacts; Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika) – offering insight into the history, shells, corals marine life, geography and archaeology of these islands; National Memorial-Cellular Jail – specially designed for solitary confinement which earned the Islands the dreaded name of Kala Pani; and Water Sports complex.
You can then enjoy an overnight stay at Port Blair.
We will leave for Baratang Island (on a shared basis) early in the morning. The island is approximately 110 kilometers away and is known for its abundant natural beauty. During the road trip from Port Blair to Baratang, we will pass through bays and thick equatorial forest. We will also take a boat journey through a creek and then trek through a small village to reach the caves.
In the evening, we will return to the hotel in Port Blair for an overnight stay.
After having breakfast, we will drive you to Mount Harriett. This location served as the summer headquarters during the British Raj. It provides captivating views of the vast ocean and the neighboring islands. Mount Harriett stands as the tallest peak in South Andaman.
The evening is at your leisure for shopping. You can enjoy an overnight stay at your hotel/resort in Port Blair.
Today, we will escort you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
